BOAT RETURNED TO INDONESIA bar9 6th May Helen Brown from the ABC’s Jakarta office is reporting (in ABC radio news reports – 9.00pm WST) that an Indonesian Navy spokesman has said that a wooden vessel has been found stranded on a beach in Eaat Indonesia. The three crew on board claimed they had reached Australian waters but had three additional people added to the boat passengers and were then escorted back to Indonesian waters. No numbers of passengers was given and it would be reasonable to assume that this is the vessel which was reported on the 2nd April and which apparently did NOT cause tony abbott to cancel his meeting with SBY.
