BOB HOPE, NEW BIOGRAPHY - THANKS FOR THE MEMORIES?????? A new exhaustive biography on Bob, hopes to resurrect his his altar on the pantheon of deceased entertainers. Its surprising how quickly some icons evaporate from memory and others, often not as bright while alive, continue to rise. It seems like those that fade, more often than not, are the enablers, those that took the easy path. Placating and validating American culture. The ones that stick and continue to warm our affections are of the more edgeie type, the ones that sting and cut.
