BOCH DEVOTIONAL: “A life of peace” The Christian life is one full of peace. The kingdom of God is righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Ghost (Rom 14:17). So Jesus comes and calls all who are tired and heavy laden to come and receive rest (Matt 11:28-30). He says he gives unto you peace not the peace of the world (John 14:27) so do not be afraid. God wants you at peace in every area of your life that is why he has poured out his peace unto you in such a great measure. He wants you to live a peaceful and calm life. He spoke to the roaring sea and said, peace be still. Whatever might try to shake you, remain at peace. He says be anxious for nothing but with prayer and thanksgiving make your requests known to God and the peace of God… (Phil 4:6-7). Your father wants you at peace because he’s got you covered. Exercise your senses to this peace that you have and enjoy the Christian walk.
