BOCH DEVOTIONAL: Love Overcomes” The scriptures go ahead to say we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. In other words we dont conquer because we prayed, fasted, sowed seed and did whatever, we conquer because we are loved. So when you have issues with your boss at work, grow from the level of praying that funny prayer for your boss, because you think He is some type of Pharaoh, Herod and whatever. Grow from that Level of making men choose between their jobs and favoring you. Although it sounds very interesting and you can get a few Amens from that, you are still too excited by power and control that you are blinded to the fact that Love is the true power of a Christian. Scripture says that this is the victory we have over the world, even our Faith. And scripture also says that this Faith works by love. That is why of the three things that abide, Faith, Hope and Love; love is above. In other words, love holds all these things together. We have Faith in the Love of the Father, We hope because we are loved. Put love out of the equation and all will be for naught.
