BOD candidate John Kolsun. A past presidents current behavior is despicable when it comes to slinging insults on a decorated veteran of the Vietnam War. That president used Mr. Kolsun when it suited his purposes to use his resources to persuade members that his administration was pursuing better management for all members. His administration and this one according to much that has been published has done little for the members - battery thefts, unauthorized spending, employee salaries based upon much higher Northern VA instead of the Hagerstown MD CPI, head of security, scandal after scandal... Boards have historically worked well for the board members and not so well for all members. Mr. Kolsun has within our community endured many hardships including vandalism and bullying about his PTSD. What type of people do we have within our community that cannot show common courtesy and respect for persons with a disability. This same disrespect and mud throwing isnt only reserved for persons with disabilities but is rampant as personal attacks when the message of the messenger is not appreciated and/or disagreed with by the ones in authority as well as others. Sometimes when all other arguments fail they attack and intimidate the person in an effort to have them withdraw. An arrogant bunch of cronies with double standards. Wrong thinking is still wrong thinking with wrong actions. We should welcome all who have the credentials, intelligence, experience and yes candor of those who are now or soon will be candidates. You are members of a seasonal community and you may wish to avail yourself of all the amenities but look around at the blight. What is your board members doing to address that and other issues, questions that members have been hollering about? The bar, the bar, and the bar operating outside of the limitations of our by laws... Support Mr. Kolsun and other new qualified candidates once they emerge.
