BOLDEN: A note to the women who are applying to work as background actors in this film. It is VERY IMPORTANT that you do not have hair highlights, nor nail gels nor acrylics, pointy nails or anything that looks more modern than the late 1800s/early 1900s, when you attend your wardrobe fitting and filming dates. Nails need to be clean, no polish, short, gardner type nails. Super important. The hair/make-up dept will send you home otherwise. They will not have time to clean nor trim nails...and then Ill have to recast your role all over again. I know most of you know this but many of you have never worked on a film that goes back to this era, so Im wanting to prep you as much as possible, so that you can work with us, and not be turned away. Both men and women need to know that you can not have ear gauges nor visible tattoos, due to the time period. Thank you and more info to come later.
