BOLIVIA !! Our 4th country of the World Travel. It is one of the poorest countries in South America and it shows. La Paz (capital of Bolivia) is chaotic, crowded and locals in the Tourism industry are aggressive. It is the highest elevation capital city. Most of the city is situated on Hills, offering beautiful views day and night. We liked the natural beauty of the country and the local culture a lot. In our opinion, it is one of the more cultural countries in South America. Old traditions are beliefs are a part of everyday life, a lot of locals still wear traditional clothes. Pachamama - Mother Earth worship, Witch craft are still a part of the Bolivian life. One of our adventure highlights was bicycling down the Death road near La Paz. We watched the local entertainment at the Cholita Wrestling matches (Local version of WWF which features traditional dressed women fighting). Travelling to tiny islands on lake Titicaca was a special visual treat. The only mode of transport is by boat, even our Bus was transported to the Island on a row boat. The calm sapphire blue water of the widespread lake Titicaca is a unique beauty. We traveled to Uyuni (biggest salt flats in the World) and also saw beautiful lakes on the way (Blue, Green, Red) and lots and lost of Flamingos. Uyuni was simple the most fun we had with pictures. People-wise, Bolivia was a bit too aggressive and overwhelming for us. Food-wise, it was a treat after the meat rich Brazil. :) Beauty-wise, Bolivia is a unique country and definitely a must-do in our opinion. :) #Bolivia #4thCountryRTW
