BOLLYWOOD NEWS : Today We are talking About Birthday Boy Padmashree KAMAL HASAN Kamal Hassan happens to be the one and only Indian actor bagging more than 18 Filmfare awards Kamal Haasan made his film debut as a 6-year-old child artiste, in the 1960 film Kalathur Kannamma, directed by A. Bhimsingh. He was cast along with the veteran Tamil actor Gemini Ganesan in the film, which won him the National Film Award for Best Child Artist. He wrote his first script at age 18 for the film “Unarchigal” (1976). 6 of his films were submitted for the Academy Award (Oscar) for Best Foreign Language Film He was married to Vani Ganapathy from 1978 to 1988 and Sarika Thakur from 1988 to 2004.
