BOLTON WANDERERS MATCH REPORT: AFC BOURNEMOUTH 0-2 BOLTON WANDERERS Bolton took their unbeaten run to six and pushed up the table to 19th, as they won at the Goldsands Stadium in Bournemouth. David N’Gog put the Whites ahead on 37 minutes and Jermaine Beckford sealed the win in injury time. Beckford went close early on and one-time Bolton target Tokelo Rantie had a shot saved by Andy Lonergan. The Cherries then had three closely missed opportunities from Elphick, Pugh and Grabban as Bournemouth looked to shade the first half. Grabban then had another attempt saved by Lonergan. It was on the 37 minute mark that David N’Gog gave the visitors the lead, when he struck a right-footed shot from the right side of the six-yard area, hitting the back of the net in the centre of the goal. He could have doubled Bolton’s advantage two minutes later, but had his shot saved by Bournemouth debutant Lee Camp. N’Gog tested the hands of Camp once more on the hour mark. Neil Danns for Bolton and Wes Thomas for Bournemouth went close late on, as the match seemed to fade away, only to be ramped up in the last five minutes. Brett Pittman had a shot blocked and Jay Spearing put the ball wide. Andrew Surman had a shot saved in the opening minute of injury time, only for Beckford to score just a minute later via a left-footed shot from the centre of the box. This gave Bolton a much-needed win and their first clean sheet in four games. The Whites will look to continue their run of good form next week, at home to Millwall.
