*** BONDED SENIOR PAIR OF LADIES *** ADOPTION OR RESCUE Carlie - 60096 / R192426 (brown Tabby) - 11 yrs. old Katie - 60095 / R192425 (grey Tabby) - 9 yrs. old Carlie & Katie were dropped off in crates in our lobby, and we had no idea who had left them! Then a day or so later, we got a letter in the mail from someone apologizing for leaving them that way, but that they knew they were out of our jurisdiction and really wanted to leave them at our shelter, rather than the one for their area. They said they didnt have the money to pay the drop off charge. But in the letter was a donation and some more info on these 2 kitties. They did give us some good info on them. They said they both are good w/other kitties, dogs, kids & both are litter-box trained. Carlie is 11 yrs. old & Katie is 9 yrs. old. They have been together their whole lives and love each other very much. Family asked if we could please do our best to keep them together. They said they have always been indoor cats. They both seem to be very sweet gals who really would love a 2nd chance. Unfortunately, since we cant legally prove the person who sent the letter is their owner & because they both are micro-chipped, we still need to hold them for the 10 days. Were doing our best to locate owner. But, in the meantime...lets hopefully have a plan put together for when these 2 sweethearts are able to leave. Both are UTD on shots, micro-chipped, de-wormed, good w/kids, dogs, cats, litter-box trained and will be spayed prior to their adoption.
