BONUS BEATLES B-SIDE of the day is the flip side of Hello Goodbye (#1 in 67) which was I Am The Walrus (#56 in 67). This could have been titled Strawberry Fields Revisited as it contained a similar feel and presentation. Both of these singles manifested what I always detested about the pop charts. The artsy/edgy/creative tracks always suffered with the masses because they either werent ready for it, didnt universally embrace it, or maybe just couldnt dance to it. The simple I Love You, You Love Me pop ballads always won out. It was during these days in about 1967 or so that I realized being #1 on the pop charts wasnt as important as making a good, creative and meaningful record. I had a real fascination with the charts and this was a transitional period for my listening habits.
