BOOK OF REVELATION CHAPTERS 6-7 BIBLE STUDY NOTES The Tribulation Time (Chapters 6-19) Chapters 6 John describes the opening of the 6 seals ~ As the first 4 seals are open John sees 4 horses and describes their activities: Rev 6:2 ~ White Horse ~ horseman had a bow & crown given to him, he went conquering & to conquer Rev 6:4 ~ Red Horse ~ power given to horseman to take peace from the earth, they would kill one another, great sword given him Rev 6:5-6 ~ Black Horse ~ he had a pair of balances & measured the wheat & barley Rev 6:8 ~ Pale Horse ~ death, to kill with sword, with hunger, with dead, & with the beasts of the earth When the 5th seal was opened, John saw under the altar, the souls which were slain for the Word of God & their testimony When the 6th seal was opened, great earthquake, sun black, moon as blood, stars fall to earth, mountains & islands moved out of place Chapter 7 Parenthetical Break between 6th & 7th seals. Similar periods found between the 6th and 7th trumpet and the 7th trumpet & the 1st vial, in each case the break is made to bring new light on some new subject This 7th chapter describes the sealing of the 144,000 Israelites ~ John also sees a great multitude standing before the throne & the lamb Rev 7:14 ~ This great multitude comes out of the Great Tribulation Rev 7:17 ~ The Lamb of God feeds & leads this great multitude to living fountain of waters & God shall wipe away all tears for those who remain faithful to Him https://biblegateway/passage/?search=Rev+6%2C7&version=GNT
