This workshop will stimulate your writing skills with a view to having your work published. For members and non-members $120 Tuesdays from 7:15 to 8:45 p.m. From September 24th to December 3rd (no meeting on October 15) While it might sound like something not to be caught up in, constrained writing is a creativity technique that can free us. As we concentrate on complying with the constraint -- be it the banning of a particular vowel, starting sentences with specified alphabet letters, or conforming to a poetic form -- our writing often becomes more imaginative, perhaps even playful, in content. Participants will be encouraged to have fun or be silly during several short writing exercises given each evening. Registration dates: until September 22nd at library front desk.
