BOOK SIGNING AND MEET THE AUTHORS AT SCI FI CAFE I have decided that starting in November I am going to set aside one day out of the monthly - every month- for Book Signing and Meet the Authors Day. I will be contacting various authors and encouraging local authors to attend monthly this event. Tables and promotions of this event will be taken care of by the Cafe but will encourage authors to also promote this event. Authors will be able to sell their own books but will give back to the cafe 10 per cent of their gross sales which will be used for further promotions to these events. I will also put this notice on our Meetup page and calendar. Winter is approaching and we all need to come up with creative ideas to keep the monies flowing for both the cafe and for authors. I am thinking that the last Saturday of every month would work, being that most people are off work that day and would have the time to spend visiting with all of us at the cafe. and of course this would be beneficial for the authors being that it would help provided needed finances for the following week to pay monthly incoming bills.
