BOOKING TIP: After talking with a few people this week, one on a plane in Richmond, VA and one in Lynchburg, VA, both expressed great disappointment and will never book with Expedia again. Apparently, the booked their trips and Expedia did not send the money to the Hotels/airlines, etc. I too have had my hours on the phone, waiting to speak to Expedia when they messed things up. I used to book with them all the time. Of course, now that I book almost all my air tickets and hotels with points and miles, I do it directly from the companies website or with Chases partner Travelocity. Going to the source, if you find the best deal, is still a safer route when booking.
