BOOM !! As Jen posted a few minutes ago...Gabriellas counts EXPLODED off the paper!! All the nurses and the Dr came into the room at around 7:30 this morning with HUGE smiles. Did u see the numbers???!!! Or...Did you see her blood test results this morning???!!! Each with HUGE smiles and an apparent sense of relief gleaming in their eyes. The gigantic leap signifies that her bone marrow is once again churning out the white blood cells her body needs. The delay is over... Mom and Dad can breathe. All the other categories of her CBC took positive steps in the right direction as well: Hemoglobin is UP, Hematocrit is UP, Platelets are Up, RBCs are UP. Talk about a rebound !! Best of all...the bone marrow aspiration has been canceled !!! We are going home!!!! The nurse brought Gabriella a big plate of bacon and eggs for breakfast. It wasnt this mornings menu item, but she got it anyway. She ate all the bacon...didnt touch the eggs. Lol. Thats our girl... I have lost 6 pounds since being here...my sleep pattern is completely shot to HELL. Jen is in the same condition.....TIRED.
