BOOM! Its here! So, first off... Studio 3 Magazine... incredible. Right now, go Like their Facebook page (along with everyone elses I tag in here), and subscribe to their magazine on the website. Its free and easy! Judy Uelk, you should be sooooo proud! Amy Reis, you went above and beyond with the music article. Such an honor to have Enso and Mary and the Giant represented so well. Mariah DeYoung, I dont even know where to start. Your work on the piece is amazing. You did such a fantastic job. Also, thank you, M for the design on the piece I penned, Perspective. So yeah... In this issue, not only do we grace the cover (awesome shots Rob Grimm and Gary Winchester), but Ive also got a 4 page spread about my music, so check that out. It sits alongside the following amazing musicians: Richie Kihlken, Brendan Bradley, Lily Pappas, Grace Weber, Moon jr, River Kittens, Dave Black, Someone Still Loves You Boris Yeltsin, Erin Bode, Adam Stanley, Letter to Memphis, Nikko Smith, and Middle Class Fashion. Aside from that, I shot a piece about The Micah Project that has a nice bit about my dad, Randy Mayfield (whose concert DVD I just watched with Eric Wiedemeier and Mariah) in there as well. And Mariah and Is photos of the concert as well as my photos of the house in Honduras are featured. Also, I was able to photograph a beautiful space, William Shearburns gallery (665 S Skinker Blvd, St Louis, MO 63105), which I recommend all of my St. Louis friends go visit. It was seriously cool. So, Eric, Justin Craig, Travis Moreless, Kristopher Scott, John Daniel Marino, Michael Schembre, Jason Koch, Junior Garr, Jonathan S. Hagood, though I wasnt able to mention you all by name, you definitely played a part in my interview, and I thank you for all the music over the years. Adam Weber, thank you so much for the track for Enso. Mansion Studio ( Wesley Wingate, Adam Roehlke, Bruce Barkelew), thank you guys for your hard work on the track from MATG. Theyre both featured as links in the article. Man. I dont know. If Im forgetting anyone, I sincerely apologize. There was a lot that went into this shindig. Anyway, if you dont feel like checking it out, at least do me the favor of unfriending me on Facebook. ;) I would love it if people could share this comment/link. It means the world to me how supportive everyone has been over the years, and I couldnt have done it without you all! My art is a product of teamwork! Cheers! -jm
