BOP Captain Macys Adams won the toss the the first game against Hamilton and elected to bowl. Brianna Perry and Macys opened up with the ball and bowled their allotted two overs straight through. Macy struck with the first ball of her spell and finished with 1-1, Brianna bowled tightly without reward. Nensi, Taneika and Holly continued to apply the pressure with the ball. Taneika and Holly were both rewarded with a wicket apiece finishing with 1-10 and 1-4 off their two. It was Catherine who was the main destroyer in the end taking 3-8 off her two overs and helping to see Hamilton dismissed for 42. In reply BOP opened with Holly and Brianna. They lost Holly early when she played a ball on to her stumps. Macys and Brianna then put together a 34 run partnership to get the team almost home. Brianna retired at 12* and allowed Jahla 1* to finish the game alongside Macy 14*. Macys luck with the toss continued in game two versus Northland. The decision to bowl first brought immediate rewards. Greer stiking in the first over with her accurate bowling removing the middle stump, she finished with 1-2. BOP continued to bowl the tight line and length they had been throughtout the tournament so far. Wickets at regular intervals thwarted any chance of the combine team securing a win. Greer 2-5, Catherine 2-5 and Taneika 2-13 were the wicket takers, along with two sharp run outs by Jahla and Taneika. At the end of their 20 overs the Counties-Valley side were 67-8.
