*BOSS/LEADER* ...and dear friends, welcome to yet another bright and awesome day blessed, sanctified and given to us by God to rejoice and be exceedingly glad in. To God be the glory. Lets compare boss and leader, most often people address us as either my leader or my boss. Then we ask are they one and same or it could be used interchangeably? A boss is that person up there who directs the affairs of either an establishment or organisation. A boss could be referred to as an overseer, the job of a boss is to see all abide by the rules and regulations of the establishment or organisation he heads. A boss could be either the owner of the establishment or the one representing the owner. A boss basically tends to the over all interest of the establishment and you get in direct contact with such a one whenever your job is found wanting or that you dont meet up with the expectation of your sector in the establishment, or when youve broken any of the rules of the said organisation or establishment. Therefore a boss is concerned with your warfare to the extent at which it affects your duty with the establishment he heads. A leader on the other hand does not necessarily have to head an establishment or organisation before one feels the impact of his/her leadership, and should such a one head an establishment he does not only drive the engine of the organisation or establishment but builds and consolidate the manpower of the establishment. Leaders leads not merely for the immediate gains but always concerned about your future placement. Because leaders see ahead of time, they tend to train and equip those who follow them with the implements necessarily not only for that at which theyre presently overseeing but that to which they intend to introduce to you. Unlike the boss who oversees the present the leader leads you even further more to the future. Both are important in the life of men, however a leader is usually more creative than a boss, most often a boss is feared simply because he drives the engine of the establishment, he/she may not earn his/her respect but the fear bellies the disrespect. Whereas the leader is loved, cherished and valued, most often than not he earns his respect, but if youre not very careful you might think he/she is not respected for the love bellies the respect. Now mistake should not be made as to believe some may not have a combination of both, some indeed qualifies as both boss and leader, those at such height are called masters. Theodore Roosevelt Says and I quote; people ask the difference between a leader and a boss. The leader leads and the boss drives. Now where do you belong or which to you aspire to be? God bless you. Shalom!
