BOSTON UNDERGRADS!! WE STILL NEED 2015 INTERNS!! As a communications intern with The Rendon Group/Empower Peace, the individual will work directly with Senior Account Executives on various client projects. Interns are typically involved in research, helping to draft press releases, database development and outreach, and campaign promotion through social media. Interns also assist in the coordination and management of events and conferences. Later in the spring, interns will have the opportunity to prepare for Women2Women, Empower Peace’s annual young women’s leadership program, which occurs every summer. Interns will help prepare materials for our program binder including research on source countries, female leaders in those countries, NGOs etc. Finally, interns will also have a variety of administrative duties including: answering phones, scanning and copying, running various errands, and other tasks. Past interns have typically been outgoing, professional and observant, with particularly good written and verbal skills, an appetite for creative work, and an excellent work ethic. Because TRG is a small firm, interns have the advantage of working with all staff members, being included in all aspects of the business, and participating in meaningful work. Please email Molly Lomenzo at mlomenzo@therendongroup with your resume if you are interested! Dates: January-June 2015, at least 3 consecutive days/week 10am- 4pm
