BOTSWANA ASH 3.TEACHER ASSISTANT - STANDARD ZERO 3.1.Job Summary To help the lead teacher manage a classroom of children who are five (5) years or younger. 3.2.Minimum Requirements •OLevels with a certificate in early childhood development •The applicants should have a minimum of two(2) years post-qualification experience in an English Medium School, be dynamic self starter and confident in the ability to instill a desire to learn in students 3.3.Key Performance Areas •Provide a variety of materials and resources for children to explore, manipulate and use, both in learning activities and in imaginative play •Attend to childrens basic needs •Teach basic skills such as color, shape, number and letter recognition, personal hygiene, and social skills •Organize and lead activities designed to promote physical, mental and social development, such as games, arts and crafts, music, story telling and field trips.
