BOlievers, I know you’re upset about Bo Pelini being fired and all, but you really need to stop comparing him to Tom Osborne. One angry BOliever even had the gall to say that Pelini was BETTER in his seven seasons then Osborne was in his first seven. Well that just isn’t true. It isn’t even close to being true. This isn’t a matter of opinion or discussion, it is just a fact. Osborne was better in every way imaginable. He had a better overall record, more wins and less losses while playing less games a season. He had a much better record against ranked opponents. He finished in the top ten six times, and won two conference titles. He had Nebraska at the forefront of college football every single year, while under Pelini we’ve been mostly irrelevant. I understand that you might be upset about Bo being let go, but to compare him to Osborne is not only wrong, its disrespectful to the amazing job Tom Osborne did and shows an alarming amount of ignorance and lack of knowledge.
