BRAZIL 2014 WORLD CUP: GERMANY NAMES FINAL 23-MAN SQUAD FOR THE WORLD CUP!!!!! German Coach Joachim Low has named his final 23-man squad for the World Cup in Brazil. Borussia Dortmund defender Marcel Schmelzer is the biggest name missing on the list. He was reported to be suffering from thigh and kneel injury, which also made him not to feature for Germany against Cameroon on Sunday. Striker Miroslav Klose who was also said to be struggling with injury, but is fit enough to be named, is the only out-and-out striker to make the squad. Bayern Munich midfielder Bastian Schweinsteiger whose injury record has not been so good lately is also named.
