BRAZIL World Cup history: The most successful team in world football, Brazil have won the World Cup more times than any other nation. They will be going for their sixth title their host tournament, looking for their first title since 2002. Manager: Luiz Felipe Scolari. The former Chelsea man is in his second spell as national coach and once again has a number of top quality players at his disposal. As Brazil coach, hes used to the pressure but in a home tournament, the nations fans are demanding the side perform. Captain: Thiago Silva. The Paris St Germain centre half has helped guide the French side to domestic success and will be a vital man for his country on the biggest stage of all. With all the attacking talent in the world, Brazil shouldnt struggle to score goals. The key to their success will be how many they let in at the other end and Silva will be tasked with keeping the opposition out. Player to watch: Neymar might seem an obvious pick but hes idolised in Brazil and will be looking to end his season on a high after a disappointing first season at Barcelona. What the press are saying: Much of the media fallout following the naming of Scolaris squad has focused on who hasnt made the cut, rather than who has. Brazil have an embarrassment of riches, particularly in attacking areas, with the likes of Ronaldinho, Robinho and Kaka all being left out.
