BREAK EVERY CHAIN. Hello Friends . Welcome to our debut sermon of this New Year . We are asking God to break every chain that has held us back from attaining all the things that He has promised us..I am going to preach on some few things that I am sure we are all familiar with. We are starting with FEAR; ISAIAH 41:10, So do not fear for I am with you; do not be dismayed for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will uphold you with My righteous right hand. MARK 3:36; Dont be afraid. Just believe. WORRY: PHILLIPPIANS 4:6-7; Do not be anxious about anything but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving; present your requests to God. And the peace of God which transcends all understanding will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. i have been asked to stop preaching gloom and doom by some people. But you see its funny that some of these people have not been in our shoes. He was speaking about us when He said in MARK 2:17, Those who are well have no need of a physician but those who are sick. I did not come for the righteous but sinners to repentance. I am asking God to break what ever chain that has tormented you for all these years. It may be a chain of depression, chain of sickness, chain of singleness, chain of womanizing, chain of poverty, chain of financial difficulties, chain of unemployment. Whatever it is as the scriptures on fear and worries tell us above, God IS ABLE to break every chain. You maybe a drug addict and I ask you right now to call on His name and believe that He will have you running away from that crack house. . You maybe in an abusive relationship right now and I am asking God to give you the strength to run away from that situation. GOD is able to not only remove the chains but He is able to turn things around for you. For those of you who have asked me to stay positive in my messages,maybe it was not directed to you. You dont understand how you can have a twelve year old struggle with lymphoma cancer, go through chemotherapy and radiation and through many prayers, that little boy is now 21 and has been cancer free for 8 years and a junior in college. You dont understand AFTER you have watched your son gone through this and then to have your cardiologist tell you that your arteries are almost blocked and the only way to fix it so blood can flow down in your body is through a double bypass open heart surgery. Again God heard our prayers and this servant of God has survived for 8 years just like his son. God removed the chains of our sickness and allowed us to live. He changed our tests to our testimonies. He took all the mess that I had and turned them to my messages. God kept us for a purpose and that is to tell His people that He is real. This is not a message of gloom but one of hope. I was not supposed to be preaching this message to you but for God. I know a friend ARMSTRONG AGBORTABI who was locked up by the US Immigration Service for 7 years. Today he is a free man and like me He is a servant of God. God took the chains away from him. He will do it for you too. Put all your trust in Him. Continue to pray harder without ceasing and please understand that His DELAY in responding to your prayer is not His denial or answer. You must learn to be patient. Daniel was patient in the lions den. The three Hebrew boys were patient in the fiery furnace. David was patient while confronting Goliath. Rehab was patient when she hid Joshuas men on the roof, I was patient when I was laying down in the hospital bed on that November 6 2006 morning waitIng for my double bypass open heart surgery, My son Stephen Eno Makia JR was patient laying down on that March 2006 night at Texas Childrens hospital waiting for his cancer surgery. We all trusted that somehow God WILL COME AND REMOVE OUR CHAINS AND HE DID. HE WILL REMOVE YOURS TOO.
