BREAKFAST NEWS: March 25th, 2014 TOUR OPERATORS APPRECIATE THE MINISTRY OF TOURISM The AUTO chairman, Byamukama Bonifence and the entire executive have expressed their thanks and appreciation to Hon. Dr. Maria Mutagamba, Minister of Tourism, Wildlife and Antiquities, Permanent Secretary Ministry of tourism, Director of Tourism and other technical staff in the ministry for understanding the concerns of tour operators most especially about the issue of online Gorilla permits. The Chairman has also extended his appreciation to the entire membership for the support rendered during the struggle on the matter and he calls upon members to remain united for challenges that may arise so that issues are handled as a team. In an exclusive phone conversation, he concluded by re-echoing a luganda saying that “AGALI AWAMU ,GE GALUMA ENYAMA!” literary meaning Together we can overcome! Byamukama is presently in Rwanda representing Uganda on invitation to discuss on the directives of the 4th summit on the use of Identity cards/voter/students cards as travel documents and single tourist visa.
