BREAKING: 3 Pittsburgh Public Schools were evacuated after a threatening voicemail was left at one of the schools. Students from West Liberty K-5, South Brook 6-8 and Pioneer schools were moved to other locations shortly before school started Wednesday morning. Students at West Liberty and South Brook were taken to nearby Brashear High School. “The medically fragile students who attend Pittsburgh Pioneer will be transported directly home,” a school spokeswoman said. “School staff is currently working to reach these families.” Students are expected to remain at Brashear while police try to find the source of the undisclosed threats. Parents wishing to pick up their child must bring photo identification. Another threat was called into West Liberty Elementary School early Tuesday morning. Pittsburgh West Liberty, Pittsburgh South Brook and Pittsburgh Pioneer are all located on the same campus and were on modified lockdown all day Tuesday. Investigators said the buildings and their perimeters were checked by authorities and nothing was found.
