BREAKING GENDER STEREOTYPES: In January this year, a 7 year old Danish girl wrote a letter to the Danish world leading toy giant LEGO. In her letter, she complained about how she felt that their boy figures were always cool and representing role models, who made a difference in society, whereas the girls only looked cute and pretty. Please change that, she wrote. Her letter made such a huge impact on LEGO that they have now launched their new series with stronger female figures such as astronauts and researchers to promote gender equality among children. What an inspiring little girl! You can read the full story in the below newslink (In Danish)
