The demonisation must stop. Using asylum seekers as political footballs to be kicked for the benefit of short term polls must stop. This is abuse of the worst variety when the most vulnerable and powerless are targeted by the most powerful for purely political gain. As our representative I ask you to notify the key decision makers in this policy area - most notably the Hon Tony Abbott, PM and the Hon Scott Morrison that we your constituents name these policies for what they are: cruel and despicable.
