#BREAKING NEWS: A Travel Warning has been declared for Hamilton County effective immediately and until further notice. This is in conjunction with a Snow Emergency declared by county officials. A Travel Warning is the highest level of travel advisory and means that travel is restricted to emergency management workers only. During this type of warning, all residents should refrain from travel, comply with emergency measures, cooperate with public officials and disasters workers implementing emergency operations plans, and obey all directions of public safety authorities. Motorists may be cited for violating the Travel Warning. Snow continues to fall making roads, especially in the unincorporated areas of the county, slick and treacherous. As temperatures fall and winds rise, blowing and drifting are expected and chemicals will be less effective in clearing roads.
