BREAKING NEWS... BREAKING NEWS... BREAKING NEWS... Girlfriend Charged In Drowning In Bath Tub Of 4 Year Old Boy..... Port Huron Police formally charged Charlisa Wood, the 22 year-old girlfriend, with Torture, First Degree Child Abuse, and Assault With The Intent To Do Great Bodily Harm Less Than Murder on Friday. On July 25th Police were called to the 800 Block of 13th Street for a possible drowning. On arrival the Police, Fire/Rescue, and EMS First Responders found the little boy in the bathtub and were able to resuscitate him and rush him to McLaren Port Huron Hospital then airlifted to Royal Oak Beaumont. The child remained in critical condition for almost a week and was treated for Severe Immersion Burns, Bruises, Deep Scratches, Abrasions, and a Lacerated Liver. The child has now been released and is protective foster care. The investigation is on going and additional arrests have not been ruled out at this time.
