BREAKING NEWS... BREAKING NEWS... BREAKING NEWS... Search Underway For Missing Private Plane Near St. Clair Co. Airport.... Kimball Township Fire Department is searching areas around the St. Clair County Airport for a twin engine Turbo-Prop plane that was last heard from while on final approach to the local airport. According to Air Traffic Control the plan was on approach, from the southwest at 1,000 feet altitude and 1/4 mile from the airport. Then, the plane then dropped to approximately 300 feet on radar and the pilot reported that he was aborting landing and was attempting to go around. That was the last transmission from the plane. St. Clair County Airport reports that they have check airport without finding the plane. A search or for the plane continues.....
