BREAKING NEWS: Congratulations to drummer Andrew Cantore and his band Phosphene for winning a battle of the bands contest and earning the opportunity to perform on the Ernie Ball stage at this years Vans Warped Tour in Chicago. Phosphene is a a female-fronted hard rock band from Chicago consisting of vocalist Jeni (Persistence Of Memory), drummer Andrew (Beautiful Nightmare), guitarist Joey (The Tragic Loss Of Veronica Lake), bassist Michael (The Last Petal), guitarist Dan (Epiphany Dawns). They quickly came together after parting ways with their previous bands. Influenced by the many of the hard rock bands from the 80s and 90s, Phosphene released their debut CD, Any Last Words, in January of this year. Theyve been touring extensively and have shared the stage with many national acts including The Pretty Reckless, Lacuna Coil, Sick Puppies, Eyes Set To Kill, Cilver Straight Line Stitch, Adrenaline Mob, Bobaflex, Kill Devil Hill, and Tantric. Andrew and Phosphene are playing onstage night now @ First Midwest Bank Amphitheatre in Tinley Park, Illinois, as part of The Vans Warped Tour!
