BREAKING NEWS: Erik Cole with the Financial Empowerment Center has verified that there will be an FEC counselor coming to Donelson! Sabrina Francis will be operating out of the Goodwill Career Services Center. The Donelson Hermitage Chamber of Commerce and some key Board members were instrumental in making this happen for Donelson. More details to follow, please read this notice from the FEC: Starting Friday January 9th, the Nashville Financial Empowerment Center will open its first ever satellite counseling location in Donelson! We will have a financial coach located at the Donelson Goodwill Career Solutions Center, 2731 Lebanon Pike on Fridays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The location can be found here: goodwillcareersolutions.org/centers/donelson/ To make an appointment, please dial the main FEC number – 615-780-3620. More information on the Center can be found at fec.nashville.gov This is the first time the Nashville FEC has formally partnered with the Goodwill Career Solutions and the first FEC location in the Donelson/Hermitage part of Davidson County. The FEC receives a number of calls and clients from these areas and leadership have been seeking a centrally-located counseling center. The local draw of a Goodwill Store and their Career Solutions Center make this a natural partnership. The Donelson Goodwill Career Solutions Center provides job placement services, transitional employment services, computer classes, and customer service classes.
