BREAKING NEWS FOR RESILIENCY TRAINING, Nov. 3-6: ACS will conduct Resiliency Training for Family Members, Soldiers, and DA Civilians 8:45 a.m. to 4 p.m. Nov. 3-6, building 87. This is BRAND New material which our ACS Resiliency Instructors were required to be certified on. We need your help in getting the word out to our Community and Families. Learn how positive emotions, perspective and goal setting can be a difference maker in your life. Please call 912-767-3863 to register. CYBER SECURITY CLASS FOR SOLDIERS & FAMILY MEMBERS, Nov. 12-14: Second Regional Cyber Center-Western Hemisphere (2RCC-WH, formerly known as RCERT), will host a Cybersecurity Class for Families 1-2 p.m. and 6-7 p.m. Nov. 13 at Woodruff Theater on Fort Stewart. The class is to create awareness of home cyber security importance and Army tools available for personal use, safe home computing, social media, smart phone/tablet safety & security (PII). Similar classes will also be made available to Soldiers on Nov. 12 at Woodruff Theater, 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. for 1ABCT and 188th Inf; 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. for 2ABCT and 3SB; at Moon Theater, 1-2:30 p.m. for DHHB, 3ABCT, and 3CAB; 3-4:30 p.m. for 4IBCT. Other classes are Nov. 13 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. for Divarty, 92nd Engineers, 82nd CAB, and 83rd CBRN at Woodruff Theater; senior leaders 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Main Post Chapel; and on Nov. 14 privileged level users/S6s 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Woodruff Theater. MARNE DIVISION BALL, Nov. 21: Come celebrate the 3rd Infantry Divisions 97th Birthday at beautiful Jekyll Island. The Division Ball is at the Jekyll Island Convention Center, Nov. 21 starting at 5:30 p.m. Guests are given the option of a fine chicken or steak meal and a memento. The evening also includes a guest speaker, dancing, and a photographer on site to commemorate the evening. Tickets are available through your Brigade or Unit representatives and are available only to 3ID military, DA civilians, contractors & Gold Star Families. Enjoy an evening of fine dining, our guest speaker, camaraderie, and dancing! RESILIENCY TRAINING V3: ACS is excited to announce Version 3, a brand new version of Resiliency Training for Family Members, Soldiers and Department of the Army Civilians. This training is changing the culture of our Soldiers and Families and DA Civilians by helping them gain the confidence to change their thinking patterns, understand the power of positive emotion and learn how all the resiliency skills can improve performance and relationships. If you know someone who has attended Resiliency Training, ask them how good it is. The training, is fun, interactive, and teaches useful, user friendly life skills.
