BREAKING NEWS FROM STATE HOUSE !!! The World Bank is locked in a meeting with the government right now as i write ,they have stopped all funds to the government of Sierra Leone as they have asked President Dr. Ernest Bai Koroma to start using the money from the donations made to help fight against the Ebola Virus Disease (EVD). The World Bank has therefore withheld all donations to the government of Sierra Leone. In his statement at the meeting, the World Bank representative said that donations made in and out of the country to help fight the Ebola virus have not been used for the purpose and should therefore be used now . What aggravated the representative was that the ambulances the government said they have bought where not bought but were taken by them and is now asking World Bank to pay for them? The statement by the Information Minister that the government has not started using the donations from the local and international donors is a clear manifestation which shows the unseriousness the government has bagged in the fight again the Disease. My listening and reading public could recall that more than le 60,000,000 each was given away by the government to MPs as a way of fighting the Virus, but as everyone is in the known nothing has been done from such sector. Because of the World Bank has not seen the seriousness from the government in fighting this deadly Virus that may be one of the reasons for withholding their funds to the government . In a recent development, the United Kingdom has disclosed that 10 million Pound Sterling has been donated to the government to fight this epidemic. Also in another development ,the three-day lockdown has raised eyebrows from the international community as MSF and others have publicly said that this strategy by the government cannot bear divident in the fight again Ebola as it is in the case of the so called Health State of Emergency Just got de message from a friend ....on what app ..ar dont kno how tru it is ..but ar deep inside ....ar believe ar need to share with yall...no wahala noo casse
