BREAKING NEWS: HIGH COURT ORDERS VOTE RECOUNT IN MANDERA NORTH The High Court in Nairobi has granted the petitioner’s wish for vote recount and scrutiny. However, the vote recount will be limited to the following six polling stations; Warga Dam, Sukela Tifna, Kobi Hills,Quraa Mathow , Shantoley and Arda Agarsu. This comes as good news to the legal team of the petitioner as their wish had been granted. The application was filed by Mjr. Rtd Bashir Abdullahi who is challenging the election of Hon. Adan Mohamed Noor as the Member of National Assembly for Mandera North Constituency. In the meantime, the hearing of the main petition continues with submissions expected from the first and second respondents (Mandera North Mp Adam Mohamed Noor and Mandera Senator Billow Kerrow respectively).
