BREAKING NEWS!!! Irani Asylum seeker charged with Sydney murder.... AN Iranian asylum seeker who was in the community on a bridging visa has been charged with murder over a fatal stabbing in Sydney. Police say they charged the Afghan-born man after the stabbing at Berala on Thursday, in which two men aged 41 and 26 suffered stab wounds in a brawl at their apartment. The 41-year-old later died in hospital. A 35-year-old man was arrested at the scene and charged with murder and wound with intent to murder after being questioned with the help of a translator. He was refused bail and will appear in Burwood Local Court on Friday.
