BREAKING NEWS!!! Jose Mourinho looks set to offer former Chelsea striker Didier Drogba a role as a player-coach in order to tempt the 35-year-old back to Stamford Bridge, according to The Mirror. Mourinho, who recently returned for a second spell in charge at the club, was the manager who initially brought the Ivorian to the club, and is believed to be desperate to bring the star back and offer him his first steps into coaching at the same time. The Mirror reports that Drogba would be able to continue playing, with the belief being that he has at least another three years at the top level, as well as working with youngsters at the club initially. He still has 12 months remaining on his contract at Turkish outfit Galatasaray, but Mourinho wants to see if the club would be tempted to do business early in order to get Drogba back into his squad in time for the new season. Drogba was seen visiting Chelsea’s training ground while Galatasaray were in England as part of their pre-season training, and will also be back for the Emirates Cup in a couple of weeks’ time. Drogba arrived at Chelsea in 2004 for a fee of £24m from Marseille, and presently enjoys club legend status at Stamford Bridge, having scored 100 goals in 226 appearances in the blue shirt. Do u actually want Didier Drogba back @ the club? As for me yes. With this kind of offer,it makes a lot of sense. Like if u re happy.....
