BREAKING NEWS,KARIBA, Kariba Municipality,through its council resolution made on the 30th May 2013,has appointed Mr Richard Kamhoti as the New Town Clerk replacing a Mr George Makunde who has joined Chitungwiza Municipality.Richard Kamhoti is the current Chamber Secretary at Kariba Municipality.At its last full council last month, council rejected A Makonde District Administrator a Mr Tembo of being coming to serve council for just 2 years before retirering,Pleasure also mounted for the council from the residents as the residents through the Budget Committe are trying to cut down employment costs at all costs so as to caushion residents on rates & rent encreases payments.During the UCAZ meeting in Nyanga,Kariba proposed to move forward without Directors bt to remain with acting Directors,so as to cut costs,This submissions was also submitted to Minister Of Local Government Rural & Urban Development,Hon I Chombo over Kariba issues.
