BREAKING NEWS! LEGENDARY CAUSEWAY TO THE GREAT PYRAMID DISCOVERED CAIRO (Egypt) - While an unauthorized excavation in his backyard a resident of the village of El Haraneya (close to the PYRAMIDS OF GIZA) has discovered a previously unknown underground tunnel as part of the former causeway to THE GREAT PYRAMID (KHUFU). Meanwhile, the Egyptian Department of Antiquities has confirmed the discovery. As the Arab news site Ahram.org reports, a man only named as Nagy discovered in 33 feet depth (about 10 meters) a passage covered with stone blocks. According to archaeologists the Egyptian Department of Antiquities now has confirmed that the tunnel seems to be the long-sought legendary CAUSEWAY TO THE GREAT PYRAMID. In fact, such access to the pyramid was already described from the Greek historian HERODOTUS based on his own experiences and contemporary reports. Archaeologists now suspect that the remains of this valley temple of THE GREAT PYRAMID can be found below the present village of El Haraneya or nearby Nazlet el-Samman.
