BREAKING NEWS MAN ACCUSED OF KILLING FORREST SEAGRAVE INDICTED A man accused of killing Kelseyville store clerk Forrest Seagrave the night of Jan. 18 has been indicted on federal murder charges. Antonio Mota, 31, was charged with Seagrave’s murder on Thursday. Mota was being held in custody at the Lake County Jail earlier this year on charges unrelated to Seagrave’s death. Seagrave was gunned down during a robbery of the Mount Konocti Gas and Mart. A suspect who was caught on surveillance tape fled the scene on foot carrying the cash drawer from the store moments after the shooting. Two clerks, including Seagrave, were confronted during the robbery. A vehicle used in the getaway was discovered in early May over the side of Highway 175, the Hopland Grade, outside of Lakeport. Seagrave, 33, was a popular figure in the Kelseyville community. Hundreds attended his memorial held a few days following his death. We will have more details as the story unfolds.
