BREAKING NEWS NOW......MT. ASHLAND SEES TREMENDOUS SUPPORT IN SPRING PASS SALES It seems that not opening for the first time in the 50 year history of the ski area did little to dampen the public support of Mt. Ashland. Mt. Ashland released the figures of their 2014 Spring Pass sales event, and there was only a slight downturn in sales from last Spring. The spring season pass sale finished stronger than expected, coming close to the number of passes sold last year during the same time frame. They sold 1,692 season passes during the sale compared to 1,921 last year in the spring. We are extremely grateful that so many of our pass holders moved forward with us into next season, said Lisa Beam, the Mt. Ashland Association president. After a year with not enough snow to open, we could have easily lost 25% - 40% of our pass holders, being down only 12% shows strong support for the ski area. We are looking forward to robust participation next year from eager skiers and riders. Having a ski area so close to home is a blessing for our community. The next season pass sale will take place in the fall and the ski area will offer 3 month interest free financing. All pass holders from the 2013-14 season qualify for a 50% discount during the sale.
