BREAKING NEWS!!! POLICE ARREST TWO ON FAKE ‘MEC’ REFLECTOR JACKETS, ITEMS ORDERED BY JOYCE BANDA AND PP Malawi Police authorities yesterday, Tuesday afternoon moved in quickly to pick two employees of JA Tradings, a company that is importing into the country, fake ‘MEC’ reflector jackets to be used in next week’s polls, we can reveal. The two were named as Reuben and the other Hussein. The two, were used by businessman Imtiaz Abdul Master to procure the said fake ‘MEC’ reflector jackets on behalf of outgoing President Joyce Hilda Mtila Banda and her Peoples Party (PP). As of last night, Reuben was being held at Lingadzi Police Station whilst Hussein was being questioned at Area 3 Police and both facilities are here in the administrative capital, Lilongwe. Earlier on Tuesday, we had reported that Imtiaz Abdul Masters company called JA Tradings had imported fake ‘MEC’ Reflector Jackets to be used as MEC officials at all Polling Stations in the country. The consignment was due to land at Kamuzu International Airport at 16:00hrs from South Africa. We have since been reliably informed that following our revelation, the plane was returned mid-air to South Africa. We have also further established that it was a chartered plane. However a scheduled Emirates Cargo plane landed at KIA almost the same time and at 21:00 hrs a Military Cargo plane landed from Kilimanjaro, Tanzania. As of last night, those involved in the procurement of these fresh rigging materials in form of fake ‘MEC’ reflector jackets were planning on the best way of bringing in into the country the materials. The mission is being coordinated by Abdul Master with Igbal Pandor in South Africa and outgoing President Joyce Bandas son, Roy Kachale. Meanwhile, Iqbal Pandor has booked himself on today’s flight to Malawi to arrange on how best the fake ‘MEC’ reflector jackets can be brought into the country as time is not on their side. Imtiaz Abdul Master a close business associate of Mrs Joyce Banda is owner of Worldwide Pharmaceuticals a company that gets a big chunk of orders at the Malawi Governments Central Medical Stores. He also owns Nyiombo Investments Limited, Malawis biggest supplier of fertilizers to FISP. Imtiaz Abdul Master rarely stays in Malawi but prefers staying outside uses BRP business permit. Achoke!
