BREAKING NEWS: President Obama can Dissolve the US Senate … It has Outlived It’s Usefulness Posted Today: January 22, 2015 President Barack Obama, speaking from just outside the Oval Office declared the United States Senate to be dissolved. The President claimed he has Constitutional powers to dissolve the Senate – and, if necessary the House of Representatives – due to the fact that he was once a “Constitutional Law Professor” at the University of Chicago and understands the true meaning of the Constitution better than anybody else. This morning the President also declared, through a Deputy Secretary of State, that the administration did not need the Senate’s or the House Members permission to do anything.
