BREAKING NEWS SOMERSET & BEYOND shared: A dangerous suspected burglar has sparked a major manhunt near Bridgwater following a terrifying incident this morning. Police say they were called to an aggravated burglary at a home in Dunwear Lane, near Bridgwater, at 8am this morning. Officers say the two occupants of the house were threatened and the man left the house shortly afterwards. An Avon and Somerset Police spokesman said: We believe the middle-aged man was wearing a grey hoodie, with the hood up, and a fluorescent jacket. We are concerned that a similar incident may occur again. Local house to house enquiries have been underway since this afternoon and local officers are in the area to reassure local communities. We are anxious to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time of the incident who may have information to help us with our investigation.
