Arsenal are reportedly in advanced negotiations with German international defensive midfielder, Sami Khedira after the 27-year-old rejected a contract extension with Real Madrid. According to the Daily Mirror, Khedira has turned down a contract extension offer and has asked the club for a transfer to Arsenal, where the English club, just a day after announcing the transfer of Barcelona’s Alexis Sanchez. talkSPORT’s Stan Collymore has confirmed that after speaking with the player’s agent, Arsenal are now in advanced talks with Real Madrid, while other reports suggest a fee has already been agreed upon. While other reports suggest that Chelsea will try to make a last- minute swoop for the German, it seems almost certain that Khedira will join the revolution on the other side of London, as Arsene Wenger adds one more German to the squad.
