BREAKING NEWS THIS JUST IN: The Pennsylvania State Police at Lancaster are investigating a police-involved shooting in Rapho Township., Lancaster County. Manheim Borough Police Officer(s) responded to a 911 call from the subject:( Steven M. Brill, 46 of Manheim) on August 12, 2013 at 8:44 PM indicating he would not be taken alive. After arriving at the scene, officers were confronted by the subject who was in possession of a rifle and shots were fired and the subject was wounded. Emergency personnel administered life-saving efforts and the subject was transported to Lancaster General Hospital where he died from the injuries. It was determined the rifle the subject possessed during the confrontation was a Daisy Powerline 880 with a rifle scope. The Pennsylvania State Police was contacted and requested to conduct the investigation into the shooting. Troopers were on scene though out the night and investigation is continuing.
