BREAKING STEVE- UPDATE: THE BACHELORETTE TODAY I HEARD FROM THE PRODUCER OF THE SHOW REGARDING MY POST LAST EVENING. ABC News, The Bachelorette,Andi Dorfman, Good Morning America, TMZ, Zazza Mornings, Andrew Kimmel, Steigenberger Grandhotel, Brussels, ABC Television Network, E! Online, Entertainment Tonight, Hollywood Life, RealitySteve, During last nights episode of the The Bachelorette on abc I called foul on abc for IRRESPONSIBLE JOURNALISM. The Scene was as follows: Nick Viall a contestant (one of the remaining 4) went to the Front Desk of the Steigenberger Grand Hotel in Brussels and ask for a room key to the Bachelorette Andi Dofrmans room. HE WAS NOT REGISTERED IN THE ROOM, HE COULD NOT PRODUCE AN ID SHOWING HE WAS REGISTERED IN THE ROOM! HE! WAS! STILL! GIVEN! A! KEY!!! Needless to say this was an extremely irresponsible use of journalism. Giving out hotel keys to unregistered guest is NOT STANDARD HOTEL OPERATING PROCEDURE IN ANY PART OF THE WORLD! This results in Murder, Rape and Robbery, and it is sad that the show put this hotel in this position. It is even more sad THAT THE HOTEL AGREED TO BE PUT IN THIS POSITION- for money I am assuming. The actions portrayed by this hotel are worthy of comments to TripAdvisor and other travel sites. Even more sad is that Andi Dorfman who supposedly has a legal degree (!?) allowed herself to be put in this position and be made a fool...and will most likely go down as the dumbest Bachelorette in the history of the show! Dear Andi, if someone knocks on your hotel room door late at night and you dont expect anyone are you so clueless you do not realize you could be leaving the hotel in a body bag! TODAY, SHOW PRODUCER ANDREW KIMMEL SENT ME THIS RESPONSE IN RESPONSE TO MY POST: I am a producer on the show and I am to blame. Please do not hold the hotel responsible for this act was done for the sake of our story. Personally I feel Andrew, the show and abc owe a greater explanation to the viewers. Acting irresponsibly for the sake of our story is mocking the safety, professionalism, and integrity of the hotel, meetings, events, and catering industry.Additionally, you are encouraging others to try this at hotels around the world and cause harm to others. SHAME ON YOU ABC, THE BACHELORETTE, ANDI DORFMAN, NICK VIALL, THE STEIGENBERGER HOTEL.and the entire Producer and Production team.
