BREAKING: Supreme Court Overturns Aggregate Campaign Donation Limits. Randall, This is bad. The Supreme Court just overturned the aggregate limit that any one person can give to campaigns in an election. This is a blow to our democracy, and does what people like the Koch Brothers and Mitch McConnell have wanted for years. Now, its possible for one donor to give HUGE amounts to candidates through joint fundraising committees, parties, and campaigns. This takes the power to choose our own leaders out of our hands, and into the hands of the ultra-wealthy. If there was ever a time for comprehensive campaign finance reform, its now. Click here to add your name to our petition demanding Congress pass real reform now! We cant afford for corrupt billionaires to control the fate of our elections. That is why I was so proud to co-sponsor a bill that would enact real campaign finance reform. But, it wont pass without your help. Its time to act : Add your name. Thanks for doing the right thing, Annie PS: To all those who donated to our people-powered grassroots campaign before our FEC deadline, I just wanted to say THANK YOU, your support is always amazing!
